New Delhi: The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), the technical arm of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Naya Raipur to jointly drive research, innovation, and standardization in next-generation telecom technologies.
This collaboration marks a significant step in strengthening India’s position in global telecom standards and policy forums.
By combining TEC’s leadership in telecom standardization with IIIT Naya Raipur’s academic and research strengths, the partnership aims to accelerate innovation and prepare India for the upcoming telecom evolution, including 6G and advanced IoT applications.

- 5G / 6G / IoT Frameworks: Collaborative research on emerging technologies and test environments for future network generations.
